Mint.com is a great tool for financial tracking but it does not (at the time of this post) support tracking net worth of Bitcoin holdings. There is an open request to support this functionality, but there has been no progress that I can see.
>Update: Jan 15 2014
Mint now has initial support for Bitcoin tracking through use of a Coinbase account. This still does not solve my problem though, as I want to simply enter a public Bitcoin address or set of addresses and have Mint track it over time.
- Finds the sum total of BTC for the user provided Bitcoin public addresses
- Fetches the Bitcoin current market price in USD (for the past 24 hours)
- Multiplies total BTC and current market price together to get the total value in USD
- Updates a pre-created Bitcoin account on Mint with current net worth
usage: mint_bitcoin_sync.py [-h] -e EMAIL [-p PASSWORD] -l BITCOIN_ACCOUNT_LABEL -a BITCOIN_ADDRESSES [--version] Update Mint.com with current value of Bitcoins in specified bitcoin addresses optional arguments: -h, --help show this help message and exit -e EMAIL Mint.com Email Address -p PASSWORD Mint.com Password (will prompt if not provided) -l BITCOIN_ACCOUNT_LABEL Mint.com Bitcoin account label -a BITCOIN_ADDRESSES Bitcoin public address (specify multiple -a for more than one) --version show program's version number and exit
